Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer (Cloud Architect) to join BCG’s Secure Infrastructure Platform product team, with a primary focus on Cloud Security. This role involves working in a Security Engineering and Automation capacity across a global network. Key responsibilities include acting as a technical advisor, troubleshooting technical issues, and preparing documentation and training materials.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with developers across the organization to drive the adoption of secrets management best practices, primarily using HashiCorp Vault.
Manage Cloud Security Posture Management and Cloud Workload Protection systems to reduce threats.
Operate within an Agile framework.
Create and maintain architecture and training documentation.
Prepare and review monthly status reports and statistics.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience deploying scalable cloud-based solution architectures on public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
In-depth technical understanding of advanced AWS features like Load Balancer, VPC Flow Logs, EKS, Lambda, and WAFs.
Proficiency with GitHub, and similar tools including Chef or Puppet, as well as Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Experience with automating solutions using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Terraform.
Strong knowledge of cryptography controls and best practices.
Familiarity with containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
Ability to successfully interface and communicate with both skilled technologists and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong work management, organizational, and planning skills, with the ability to work in a global Agile environment.
Excellent negotiation and consensus-building skills, especially when dealing with competing priorities.
